Sea Explorers Inc, our
Partner Center in the Philippines, founded by Chris Heim and Patrick
Gillieron, is the most experienced operator in the area. They operate
six dive centres in this southern Philippines region, namely in
Dumaguete-Dauin, Negros Oriental (main center), Alona Beach, Panglao,
Cabilao Island on Bohol, Moalboal-Cebu, Malapascua-Cebu North, Siquijor
Island.
Diving Operation:
Sea Explorers, operating many dive centers in the Visayas, offer the
world´s unique Island Hopping experience. You dive at many Sea Explorers
dive centers and also in between on the way from a dive center to the
next one. Whenever possible, the transfers in between the destinations
are done with their own diving boat, giving you the unique opportunity
to discover new dive spots on the way to the next destination.
Dive Sites:
Fantastic dive sites in the Visayas, like for example Apo Island,
Balicasag Island, Cabilao Island, Gato Island, Pescador Island and many
more.
Diving Safaris:
For bigger groups of divers Sea Explorers offer diving safaris. The
safaris are organized with their own outrigger boats. During the safari
sightseeing tours to the Chocolate Hills on Bohol Island or to the
Kawasan Falls on Cebu Island, can be organized. Those with more time,
can also book one or two extra weeks at any Sea Explorers dive center of
your choice.
Education:
In 1998 Sea Explorers in Dumaguete was upgraded to a PADI 5* Gold Palm
IDC Center, one of the first in the Philippines. The Instructor
Development Courses (PADI IDC) and Examinations (PADI IE) are usually
held in February, May, August and November. All centers offer PADI dive
courses from beginner up to divemaster
