Gozo, Malta

Gozo is the smaller and greener of the two Maltese islands. Here you will find a very special type of holiday atmosphere.

If you enjoy good dives and good food combined with a relaxing and private holiday, then Gozo is just the place. Our Partner Center in Gozo, Calypso Diving Center, is situated in Marsalforn, a little harbour town on the North coast of the island.


Diving Operation:
Half-day trips by jeep are the norm. Boat trips with large ribs are at extra cost and should be paid for on site. On Gozo advanced divers (PADI Advanced or equivalent) can also hire a car and do their own shore dives.


Fauna, Flora and Wrecks:
Divers can expect spectacular underwater landscapes with caves and grottos. The fauna and flora are rich, and whilst large fish are rare, there are many smaller fish, tubeworms, sponges, crayfish, moray eels and rays. There are also a few wreck dives. Even in the Winter months the water temperature doesn’t drop below 15ºCC and the clear water as well as the low tourist numbers are good reasons for also considering Gozo as a potential Winter destination.


Getting there:
Malta is reachable in 2-3 hours from most European larger cities. Transfer time by car and a ferry from Malta to Gozo is approximately 1 to 1.5 hours. Helicopter transfers taking only minutes are also an option.
